Samurai Kid is now finished!

I'm all done with this game and have hundreds of screenshots captured. I may or may not use all all of the screenshots I've captured for the article. I've captured a video of the final boss and the ending too. The ending credits don't seem to use any Kanji, so I may be able to more or less translate the names in the same fashion as I did with the Kaito(u) Saint Tail game made for the Sega Game Gear.

Just Playing Me Some Samurai Kid!

As I've stated on Gaming Sanctuary, I'm getting mah groove on in Samurai Kid for the Game Boy Color. You know, I've played the game a little bit, but getting back to it to make a deeper and more enriching review has made me see this game more clearly. The game is awesome, though still a little easy so far. The last boss I fought (the underwater boss) was shooting energy bullets everywhere though...was pretty sweet. Here are some of the latest little screenshots of what I'm capturing in the game:

Monetization is now possible on GS' YouTube account??

You know, it's so weird. A couple of days ago (as stated in the previous post), our account is now in good standing in all areas of YouTube. Almost immediately afterwards, I get a message from YouTube telling me that it is possible for my channel to earn money on videos on our account. I was both surprised and skeptical. Our account has gotten over 4 million video views, 100,000 channel views and thousands of subscribers (probably hundreds of thousands of unique viewers).

The thing that surprised me is that it happened so soon after our YT account became in good standing. The skeptic in me knows that there is so much spam out there and there are scams all over the place. I thought it was fake, until I saw this:

The picture above is after you go through the process outlined in an email sent by YouTube. I decided to fill it out, though I haven't tried to monetize anything. Gaming Sanctuary probably won't use it on too many videos. However, it might not be so bad to use it on my MANY video tutorial videos that I want to make in the future. I don't think it's a good idea to monetize game samples...it's kind of a gray area, you know?

Everything is A-OK (Regarding YouTube)

I've been uploading videos as usual and I noticed something strange; a false copyright claim I received some time ago has been lifted. I'm now in good standing again in all areas of YouTube. Usually, if you get a false copyright claim on YouTube, you tend to have to jump through so many hoops to get rid of it that you're better off just keeping the strike(s) and/or making a new account.

That's exactly what I did when I made my newer Vysethedetermined2 on YouTube. I wonder if I can upload movies longer than 15 and 1/2 minutes again...that feature would come in handy for RPGs and reviews and the like. Anyway, check out my latest upload below. It's for Bionic Commando: Elite Forces (for the Game Boy Color).

Gaming Sanctuary's First Post

There will be more added to this space for certain. However, at this very second, I don't have much to add (it's 1 in the morning, lol). I've done some eBay shopping and bought some Playstation (one) imports from Japan. They should make for some interesting YouTube videos. I'll talk about them more in another post later.
